We currently offer caribou for the Central Barren Ground herds in Manitoba and the Quebec herds near James Bay.
The Quebec migration is something you must see at least once. Many hunters return year after year to witness the migration of a sea of antlers. Many attempts at predicting the migration have been tried including the radio tracking of older cows. What has been learned is that only the caribou know when and where they will migrate; however, current herds number over 1 million animals and many routes are taken so that maybe the same herd of caribou will not pass down the exact trail as in the past others surely do come.
Hunting starts in of August for Quebec and both Manitoba and Quebec are hunted in September. Most hunts are filled for the Manitoba herd for this year. Please call for availability.
Fishing is available for the earlier dates for lake and brook trout. Some huge bear are killed every year in all of these hunts and ptarmigan can also be hunted. Licenses are guaranteed upon booking. Call now for the current dates
